Bladder health

Leakage, urgency, or frequent trips to the bathroom are common concerns we hear in family practice. If this is part of your day, you can ask us about a screening visit at Providence Family Medical Center.

Who may ask about this
- Urine leakage with coughing, lifting, or exercise
- A sudden urge that is hard to wait through
- Needing the bathroom more often than usual, including at night
What the visit is
- You talk with a provider about your symptoms and goals.
- The visit is a screening. It is not a diagnosis from a web form or a poster.
- If a non-invasive clinic option may fit, we explain what a treatment visit feels like and next steps.
A provider screening is required to determine whether this service may be appropriate. This option is not right for every patient.
When it is a fit, we use Freedom, a clinician-directed, non-invasive support option for selected bladder and pelvic concerns. We do not promise a specific result.
